Welcome to Dr Abdel Hadi's Educational Website
The need to come up with this site comes from what I see in my office. We meet you in the first visit, flood you with too much information, and then ask you to remember each bit of it. This website is an effort to help you remember what we said in the office, and help you through what we do in offices in the GTA.
While I hope that you will find this website informative and useful, it is not intended to be your only resource for information about a certain issue. You might find more information on the topic in other places. But the value I add here is the specifics of what you will do in our office. What do you need to do with this lab form, or with that swab, or where do you go when you show up in the hospital? Is this treatment available in Canada, and how can you get it.
We offer education session about topics relevant to your health.
Our mission is to help you get the best information on the clinical management of your health condition.
ABOUT YOUR VISIT
Preparation for your appointment
To make your visit run smooth, please arrive 10 minutes or so before your appointment. You will be asked to fill in a brief sign in sheet with basic contact information and allergies, etc. If you are pregnant, you will be asked to provide a urine sample for some basic urine testing. If you are not pregnant, we recommend emptying your bladder before you see the doctor.
Dr Abdel Hadi is an Assistant Professor in Queen's University, in both departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Medicine. As such, we usually have residents in our office. Residents are physicians who finished medical school and are doing more clinical rotations. If you have any concerns with this, please talk to our reception staff about this before you start your visit.
